Brewers vs. Cardinals MLB Pick – August 19th

The Milwaukee Brewers will Visit St. Louis after a couple of Crazy days in Washington against the Nationals.

Sunday was a day for the Brewer pitching yesterday afternoon, although saturday night was a wild that is great. The Brewers outlasted that the Nats in a fun game for the fans in 14 innings for a 15-14 win. It was not a fun game whatsoever for the bullpens.
The Brewers bullpen required the event that was lengthy tougher. Their pitching staff that was tired got hammered yesterday day allowing 16 runs at a 16-8 reduction. Milwaukee added 4 inning works to soften the blow to make the score respectable.
Chase Anderson got off to a start Sunday to put the wheels in motion to get a difficult day on the bump. Anderson allowed 10 earned runs in just 2.1 innings and Aaron Wilkerson was labeled for five earned runs in 4.1 innings. The crime wasnt likely to be making that up, therefore it was an early loss for the Brewers in that one.
The Brewers are at the middle of a NL Central along with wildcard race in the National League. Theyve a probability of winning nothing in any respect or just one of the two. This is a series for the Brewers and Cardinals.
Between Cubs, the Brewers, and Cardinals there are dividing everyone in the NL Central. The Reds and Pirates have been outside, but everyone else is still in play in the branch. With a series across the Cardinals and the Cubs slipping upward this week, the Brewers may be by the end of the week. A little simpler said than done.
Zach Davies, that was the best pitcher at the Brewers rotation, will seem to react after fighting mightily. The Cardinals are expected to cancel with Dakota Hudson. Head below for our free Brewers vs. Cardinals select.

Zach Davies is a major choice for the Brewers within their rotation this year. While the majority of the rotation struggled, Davies was the 1 outlier who delivered on the bulge. It was quite striking and Davies was on pace to break his past career-high ERA of 3.90 set in 2017. I will dismiss the 3.71 ERA he published in six starts as a newcomer because it wasnt a full year for him.
Davies is clearly on pace to conquer an ERA of 3.90, but he is making it hard on himself down the stretch. Davies enters with an ERA of 3.74 and 1.39 WHIP, but his recent excursions are putting a career-high in doubt today. He posted a 11.77 ERA, 2.00 WHIP, and .400 OBA in his previous three starts, allowing 18 runs in 13 innings of work.
Davies also has not performed well from the Cardinals. The Cards are hitting on .300 with 21 runs scores on Davies at 130 at-bats. In his final trip to St. Louis, Davies was good however, the Cardinals were much better with a 4-3 victory. Along with Davies struggling their bullpen is going to be tired in Washington after the previous two days.
Dakota Hudson has been coming from a standout performance against the Royals in Kansas City. He shuttered the KC lineup for no more runs over six innings of work. Since the Cards enjoyed a triumph the bats took care of the rest. Hudson has allowed over 3 runs in just 2 from 25 appearances. With just one game with over 3 runs scored from him, Hudson has become the model of consistency, since April 21st. Expect the Cardinals to open a series against an inter-divisional rival in Busch Stadium on Monday.
